The Woxbox
Things I Really Hope to See For Bioshock Infinite DLC (Possible Spoilers)Wow, that rhymed!Anyway, as a gamer and Bioshock fan, I’d say that Bioshock Infinite has sparked my interest in what kind of DLC we’ll be getting. It certainly wasn’t the best of the three (I find that Bioshock 2 is, in my opinion), but it was solid enough. Ken Levine has already said that the first DLC will be ‘a love letter to the fans’.
Songbird DLCThis is one of the main things. I’d love to see DLC where one gets to play as Songbird. Either to explore his past or just fuck up some shit during some point in the relative present of the game’s setting. And I honestly want to know if there’s someone inside that suit who has been Big Daddy’d (my vote is for an alternate Booker).
Rapture DLCCome now, let’s all say it at once: Getting to tear through Rapture again in a new setting would be pretty fun. My thoughts on this have been that it’d be fun to be the Lutece’ assistant or ‘volunteer’, before Dewitt came to Columbia, who gets sent to get samples of Plasmids, photos of Splicers, and explore a new, large area of Rapture, ending with a possible fight against someone who has been trying to stop you (or worse, has discovered that you came through a tear and wants that technology for himself to escape Rapture?)
Columbia’s FinestThis is something I considered might be neat. Play as an officer in Columbia’s police force, during a time before Booker arrived (and maybe partially during that time). Just plain get to see more of Columbia before it’s downfall and maybe more of it during. Including gunfights with the Vox and more Skyline riding~!
Workers UniteOpposite of the above. See more of Finkton and Shantytown, as a Vox Populi Agent.
There and Back Again and AgainThe Lutece ‘twins’ are interesting in their own right. Playable DLC as them, with more of an emphasis on using the environment, than combat? Perhaps following Booker and Elizabeth from walkways and such and influencing their journey from observational areas using your own abilities? Plus, I want to hear more back-and-forth from them, really.
Ryan Industries ‘Columbia Project’What if Andrew Ryan had been born years earlier and he himself had worked with Lutece to create Columbia? And then used the Tear machine to greater effect than Comstock to attempt a takeover of America? And Elizabeth hunts down the only guy who can stop him: Jack Ryan.
Heroes DLCJack Ryan, Delta, and Booker DeWitt. Three men, two cities, two lighthouses, two young women saved by their fathers, and a lot of good deeds between them. However, what if their adventures weren’t over? I’d honestly love to see these three together in maybe a coop DLC concerning some sort-of Tear anomoly that results in Sofia Lamb, Fontaine, and Comstock getting together to do some serious shit?
And Finally…Multiplayer. The options are right there: Founders VS Vox. Multiplayer-only Vigors, weapon loadouts, trapping Dollar Bill vendors to punch enemies, and using a special limited-use-per-fight Vigor to open tears.

  1. Songbird DLC

  2. Rapture DLC
Come now, let’s all say it at once: Getting to tear through Rapture again in a new setting would be pretty fun.
